Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Heavy-Duty Cleaner to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position located in Maple, ON. The employer accepts applications from Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary residents of Canada, as well as other candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Salary: $36.00 hourly / 37.5 hours per week
• Work Location: On site
• Work Setting: Private residence
• Special Commitments: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Overtime available
• Vacancies: 2

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors, and stairs
• Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse
• Empty trash cans and other waste containers
• Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
• Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
• Perform safety and security checks
• Supervise other workers
• Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
• Work with minimal supervision
• Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: Experience is an asset
• Languages: English
