Our client is seeking compassionate, caring, and reliable individuals to join their team as Personal Support Workers (PSWs)/ Caregivers. They provide home care services focused on enhancing the quality of life for clients and ensuring peace of mind for families.

Job Summary
The Personal Support Worker is a key member of the home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator, providing various personal care services as necessary to meet the needs of clients.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with personal care and hygiene
• Meal preparation
• Light housekeeping
• Accompany clients on outings
• Shopping and errands
• Medication assistance and reminders
• Ambulation and transporting of clients
• Provide companionship to clients
• Ability to follow care plans
• Documentation and charting

Qualifications

• Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student)
• Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Ability to travel around the assigned area
• Access to internet and mobile phone
