Our client is seeking a Head Chef to join their team. This is a permanent, full-time position located at their restaurant in Delta, BC. Immigration support may be available for overseas candidates.

Job Details

• Location: Onsite at 5241 Ladner Trunk Road, Delta, BC, V4K 1W4
• Salary: $34.00 to $36.80 hourly (to be negotiated), working 30 hours per week
• Start Date: As soon as possible

Job Overview

Responsibilities:

• Estimate amount and costs of supplies and food items
• Supervise activities of specialist chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers
• Create new recipes
• Prepare and cook food for regular service or special events
• Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
• Consult with clients regarding weddings, banquets, and specialty functions
• Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
• Recruit and hire staff

Experience and Qualifications

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 3 to less than 5 years in a similar role
• Cuisine Specialties: Japanese cuisine
