Job Opportunity for Hairstylist with Immigration Support

Our client is seeking a talented hairstylist to join their team. Visa sponsorship may be considered for the right candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Key Responsibilities

• Book appointments
• Cut and trim hair according to client’s instructions or preferences
• Shampoo customers’ hair
• Shave and trim beards and mustaches
• Provide other hair treatment, such as waving, straightening, and tinting, and also provide scalp conditioning massages
• Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to colour, frost, or streak hair
• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair
• Suggest hairstyles compatible with client’s physical features and preferences
• Perform receptionist duties

Qualifications

• Hairstylist License
• Experience in hair styling techniques such as blow drying, iron waving/curling, and permanents
• Knowledge of hair coloring techniques like bleach, dyes/tints, frosting, and streaking/highlights

Work Environment

The position is located in a barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio. Work must be completed at the physical location, with no remote options available.

Job Details

• Location: 1870 Riverside Dr, Timmins, ON, P4R 1N7
• Salary: $17.20 per hour, with a guaranteed minimum wage
• Terms of Employment: Permanent full-time
• Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week, including mornings, days, evenings, nights, weekends, and shifts
• Vacancies: 3 openings
