Responsibilities

• Book appointments
• Cut and trim hair according to client’s instructions or preferences
• Shampoo customers’ hair
• Shave and trim beards and mustaches
• Provide hair treatments such as waving, straightening, and tinting; provide scalp conditioning massages
• Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to color, frost, or streak hair
• Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair
• Suggest hair styles compatible with client’s physical features and preferences
• Perform receptionist duties

• Blow drying
• Iron waving/curling
