Work Setting: Barbershop or hairstyling salon/studio
Employment Type: Permanent, Full time
Salary: $15.65 per hour, 30 to 40 hours per week

On-Site Work: Work must be completed at the physical location.
Responsibilities
- Book appointments
- Cut and trim hair according to client’s instructions or preferences
- Shampoo customers’ hair
- Shave and trim beards and mustaches
- Provide hair treatments such as waving, straightening, and tinting
- Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses for hair coloring
- Suggest hairstyles compatible with client’s features
- Perform receptionist duties
Credentials
Required Certificate: Hairstylist Licence

Hair Styling Techniques:
- Blow drying
- Iron waving/curling
- Permanents
- Roller setting
Hair Coloring Techniques:
- Bleach
