Job Overview
Our client is seeking a qualified Hair Stylist to join their team in Winnipeg, MB. Visa sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate. This is a full-time, permanent position offering an hourly wage of $18.00 for approximately 32 to 35 hours per week. Candidates can apply with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Responsibilities
- Advise clients on beauty care treatments
- Analyze hair and scalp condition
- Book appointments
- Cut and trim hair according to client’s preferences
- Provide custom hair and scalp treatments
- Shampoo customers’ hair
- Shave and trim beards and mustaches
- Waving, straightening, tinting, and scalp conditioning
- Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to hair
- Apply hair extensions
- Clean and style wigs and hairpieces
- Suggest hair styles compatible with clients’ features
Qualifications
Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience
7 months to less than 1 year of experience is preferred.
Certification
- Hairstylist Trade Certification is required.
Work Conditions
- Repetitive tasks
- Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- Standing for extended periods
