Job Description

• Perform maintenance and repair tasks on ground equipment and heavy and light vehicles.
• Diagnose breakdowns on company trucks and vehicles.
• Perform preventive maintenance on conventional and diesel engines.
• Carry out mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs on various equipment.
• Perform various welding tasks.
• Perform all other related tasks.

Qualifications

• Training in vehicle mechanics or equivalent.
• Experience in the mechanical field.
• Bodywork experience with welding skills (MIG and TIG).
• Experience and good skills as a painter.
• Experience in electrical troubleshooting and blueprint reading is an asset.
• Strong desire to learn all facets of the trade.
• Team spirit, resourcefulness, ability to meet tight deadlines, and attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of propane, electric, diesel, and gas-powered equipment.
• Ability to obtain RAIC card and DA drivers permit (Airport pass from Transport Canada).
