• Salary: $250,000 – $400,000 annually (To be negotiated)

Overview

This position involves working in an urban area within private practice. The candidate will perform a variety of medical tasks and provide comprehensive healthcare services.

Responsibilities

• Collect medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals
• Examine patients’ health conditions to identify diseases and injuries
• Help patients develop healthy habits and reshape their approach to wellness
• Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures
• Consult with other medical practitioners regarding patient care
• Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
• Perform and assist in routine surgery
• Provide pre-natal and post-natal care
• Advise patients on health care
• Coordinate or manage primary patient care
• Provide counselling and support to patients and their families

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
• Language: English or French
• Licenses: Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC) and other relevant licenses required
