• Salary: $27.00 to $36.00 hourly (To be negotiated) / 30 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time

Responsibilities

• Interpret welding process specifications
• Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment
• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals, and processes
• Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and specifications
• Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment
• Fabricate or repair metal parts and products using previously set-up welding machines

Qualifications

Education and Experience

• Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience

Certifications

• First Aid Certificate
• Forklift Operator Certification

Skills and Additional Information

• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads
• Excellent interpersonal skills and teamwork
• Own transportation and tools (e.g., steel-toed safety boots)
