Job Overview

Our client is seeking a General Practitioner (GP) to join their team. Visa sponsorship may be considered for international candidates, including those seeking LMIA support or other immigration pathways.

Job Details

• Location: Winnipeg, MB
• Salary: $300,000 to $350,000 annually (To be negotiated)
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Special Commitments: Early morning, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Flexible hours, Overtime available
• Vacancies: 3

Responsibilities

• Collect medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals.
• Examine patients’ health condition to identify diseases and injuries.
• Help patients develop healthy habits and reshape their approach to wellness.
• Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures.
• Consult with other practitioners to evaluate patients’ physical and mental health.
• Prescribe and administer medications and treatments.
• Inoculate and vaccinate patients.
• Advise patients on health care and wellness strategies.
• Co-ordinate or manage primary patient care.
• Provide counselling and support to patients and their families.

Requirements

• Education: Earned doctorate degree (MD).
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a relevant field.
• Certificates: CCFP, LMCC, CCFP(EM), and MCCQE I & II.
