Position Description

Reporting to the District Manager or Multi-Unit Manager, the Restaurant General Manager (RGM) will oversee the daily operations of a single restaurant with 10-45 employees. The RGM is responsible for ensuring guest satisfaction, managing quality food delivery, maximizing sales and profitability, and maintaining brand standards.

Essential Functions

• Directs efficient and accurate preparation and sale of products to maximize guest satisfaction.
• Ensures preventive maintenance of restaurant facility and equipment is completed in accordance with company standards.
• Motivates and directs team members to exceed customer expectations.
• Provides coaching and feedback to team members and management.
• Manages restaurant profit and loss by implementing marketing strategies.
• Maintains inventory and manages labor; applies financial reporting analysis.
• Enforces compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Leads restaurant management team in recruiting and retaining effective talent.

Minimum Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skills

• High School Diploma or GED required; 2 years of college preferred.
• 2-4 years of restaurant management experience.
• Strong leadership and development skills.
• Problem-solving skills for prompt issue resolution.
• Math and computer literacy for budget management.
• Ability to interact with the public in a friendly manner.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Work Environment

• Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Primarily an indoor environment with some outdoor tasks.
• Involves standing and walking for long periods.
• Requires physical tasks such as bending, sweeping, and lifting.
