Our client is seeking a Garage Mechanic to join their team. This position is open to international applicants as visa sponsorship may be considered.

Job Details

• Location: York, ON
• Salary: $30.00 per hour (40 hours per week)
• Terms of Employment: Permanent full-time
• Work Environment: On-site, Noisy garage
• Shift: Must be available for shift or on-call work
• Vacancies: 2 available

Responsibilities

• Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace units.
• Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
• Perform road tests on motor vehicles.
• Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
• Provide customer service and advise customers on work performed.
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
• Coach and instruct apprentices.

Qualifications

• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
• Experience: 3 to less than 5 years in a similar role.
• Languages: English
• Personal Suitability: Team player, client focus, punctual, and dependable.
