Job Responsibilities

WHAT CAN I EXPECT TO DO IN THIS ROLE?

• Run group and individual sessions for music therapy and recreational programs
• Complete all documentation as per guidelines, including session plans, assessments, treatment plans, session notes, and progress reports
• Learn songs and interventions to use with clients on your caseload
• Build proficiency with voice, guitar, and piano
• Seek out supervision and/or coaching as required for clinical questions

Qualifications

HOW DO I QUALIFY?

• MTA or in the process of obtaining certification
• CAMT member in good standing
• COVID-19 vaccination and annual flu shot (as per long-term care requirements)
• Reliable transportation
• Willing to relocate to the Simcoe County region
