Job Details

• Location: 3016 Hwy 3, Creston, BC V0B 1G1
• Salary: $18.00 per hour (35 hours per week)
• Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time

Work Environment

• Fruit and vegetable combination farming
• Outdoor work conditions – Wet/damp, Dusty, Hot
• Staff accommodation provided

Responsibilities

• Apply hoeing techniques between rows
• Clean the crops
• Grade vegetables and fruits based on size, shape, color, and volume
• Hand harvest vegetables
• Pick row and orchard crops
• Document daily progress
• Maintain cleanliness in the work area
• Load, unload, and transfer crates, supplies, and farm produce

Qualifications

• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required; will train
• Languages: English
• Experience: No prior experience required; training will be provided

Work Conditions

• Fast-paced and physically demanding environment
• Repetitive tasks requiring manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, and handle weights of up to 50 lbs
