Position: Front Office Manager – Hotel
Location: Leamington, ON
Work Setting: On-site accommodation available at a hotel, motel, or resort.

Salary: $36.10/hour
Employment Type: Permanent, full-time

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for daily operations
  • Recruit and hire staff
  • Supervise staff
  • Negotiate with suppliers for materials and supplies
  • Conduct training sessions
  • Negotiate with clients for facility use
  • Perform front desk duties
  • Prepare marketing plans
  • Oversee maintenance activities
  • Enforce policies and procedures
  • Address customer complaints or concerns
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs
  • Establish work schedules
  • Manage events
  • Organize and maintain inventory

    • Qualifications

    Education:

  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma (1-2 years)

    • Experience:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year in a similar role

    • Skills:

  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Windows
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Client-focused with efficient interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure with attention to detail
  • Team player with flexibility and initiative
