Our client is seeking a Food Services Manager to lead daily operations and ensure the restaurant’s profitability. Immigration support is potentially available for qualified candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

• Salary: $35.50 hourly / 35 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Special Commitments: Morning, Night, Weekend

Qualifications

• Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
• Languages: English
• Credentials: Food Safety Certificate

Responsibilities

• Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant’s profits
• Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen, and cleaning supplies
• Evaluate daily operations
• Plan and organize daily operations
• Set staff work schedules
• Supervise and train staff
• Implement operational procedures
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Provide customer service
