Our client is seeking a Food Services Manager to join their team. This position is open to international applicants as it may provide visa sponsorship and other immigration support options.

Job Details

• Location: 3703 Mayor Magrath Drive, Lethbridge, AB
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $36.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent full-time
• Shift Availability: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend
• Vacancies: 1 vacancy

Responsibilities

• Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies.
• Evaluate daily operations.
• Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget.
• Monitor revenues to determine labour cost.
• Monitor staff performance.
• Plan and organize daily operations.
• Recruit staff and set staff work schedules.
• Supervise and train staff.
• Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures.
• Balance cash and complete reports.
• Conduct performance reviews and cost products and services.
• Organize and maintain inventory.
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed.
• Negotiate arrangements with suppliers.
• Participate in marketing plans and implementation.
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate/diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
• Languages: English.
• Technology Skills: Familiarity with electronic cash register, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and point of sale systems.
