Job Overview

Our client is seeking a food service supervisor to join their team. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified international candidates, with immigration support potentially provided.

Job Details

• Location: 4211 Village Square, Whistler, BC, V8E 1H4
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $20.00 to $30.00 hourly (To be negotiated), working 30 to 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full time
• Shifts: To be determined
• Vacancies: 5

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Prepare and submit reports
• Must have knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres
• Establish work schedules

Supervision

• Supervise 5-10 people, including cooks and kitchen helpers

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a related role
• Languages: English
