Job Details

• Location: Toronto, ON
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $18.50 hourly (30 to 40 hours per week)
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time
• Vacancies: 2 vacancies

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
• Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
• Prepare and submit reports.
• Must have knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres.
• Supervise and check assembly of trays.
• Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys.
• Establish work schedules.

Supervision

• Supervise 1 to 4 staff in various areas of responsibility.

Candidate Requirements

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience.

Skills

• Client focus and excellent oral communication.
• Flexibility and team player mentality.

Working Conditions

• Fast-paced environment.
• Combination of sitting, standing, and walking; standing for extended periods.
• Physically demanding role.
