Position: Food Service Supervisor

• Location: Saskatoon, SK
• Salary: $16.00 to $16.50 hourly (To be negotiated)
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Special Commitments: Early morning, morning, evening, night, weekend, shift, on call, flexible hours, overtime available

Overview

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Languages: English

Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules.
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
• Prepare food order summaries for chef.
• Supervise and check assembly of trays.

Supervision

• Kitchen and food service helpers.
• Staff in various areas of responsibility.
