Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated Food Service Supervisor to oversee our food service operations. Visa sponsorship may be considered for qualified candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Nanaimo, BC
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $20.00 hourly / 35 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Special Commitments: Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Flexible hours
• Vacancies: 2 positions available

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules.
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
• Prepare and submit reports.
• Supervise and check delivery of food trolleys.
• Establish work schedules.

Requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in food service
• Languages: English
