Our client is seeking a Food Service Supervisor for a permanent, full-time position. This opportunity is open to **international candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit**, and visa sponsorship is potentially available.

Job Details

• Location: Merritt, BC
• Salary: $26.00 hourly
• Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
• Work Location: On site

Overview

• Languages: English
• Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
• Prepare and submit reports.
• Establish work schedules.
