Our client is seeking a Food Service Supervisor. This is a full-time, permanent position located in Medicine Hat, AB. Candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit are encouraged to apply.

Job Details

• Location: Medicine Hat, AB
• Salary: $17.00 per hour
• Hours: 32 to 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
• Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, must be available for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules.
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
• Prepare and submit reports.
• Supervise and check assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
• Establish work schedules.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
• Language: English
