Job Summary

Our client is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to join their team. This position provides an excellent opportunity for candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit, and visa sponsorship may be considered.

Job Details

• Location: 5308 Highway 7 E, Markham, ON L3P 1B9
• Salary: $17.25 per hour
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Workplace Information: On site
• Work Hours: 40 hours per week
• Special Commitments: Day, Weekend shifts

Education and Experience Requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
• Language: English

Key Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
• Prepare and submit reports.

Work Conditions

Fast-paced environment. There is no option to work remotely; the work must be completed at the physical location.
