Our client is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to join their team. This full-time position is located on-site in Whitehorse, YT. Visa sponsorship is available for international candidates.

Job Details

• Location: Whitehorse, YT
• Salary: $20.00 hourly
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Work Environment: Noisy, Hot

Key Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Hire food service staff
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Prepare food order summaries for the chef

Supervision

• Supervise 5-10 staff members, including cooks, servers, and food preparers

Qualifications

• Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required
• Experience: 5 years or more in a similar role
• Languages: English
• Certificates: First Aid Certificate, WHMIS Certificate, Food Safety Certificate
