Our client is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to help manage food preparation and service. This position may offer visa sponsorship for international applicants.

Job Details

• Location: 7001 Mumford Rd., Halifax, NS, B3L 2H8
• Salary: $16.00 hourly for 32 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• Prepare and submit reports.
• Supervise and check assembly of trays.
• Establish work schedules.
• Receive, unpack and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.

Supervision

• Supervise 3-4 team members.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

• Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
• Standing for extended periods.
• Bending, crouching, kneeling, and walking.

Personal Suitability

• Flexibility.
• Team player.

Requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a related field.
• Languages: English.
