Job Overview

Position: Food Service Supervisor

Our client is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee restaurant operations. Immigration support may be considered for the right candidate, including support for those with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Burnaby, BC
• Workplace: On site
• Salary: $20.00 per hour (35 to 40 hours per week)
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

Responsibilities

• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Prepare and submit reports
• Establish work schedules

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
• Languages: English
