Our client is seeking a dedicated Food Service Supervisor for our restaurant. Visa sponsorship is available for qualified overseas candidates, including support for those with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $17.20 to $20.00 hourly (To be negotiated)
• Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Special Commitments: Early morning, Morning, Weekend, Shift

Overview

Responsibilities:

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Prepare and submit reports
• Prepare food order summaries for the chef
• Supervise and check assembly of trays
• Establish work schedules

Skills and Requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
• Language: English
• Personal Suitability: Client focus, Excellent oral communication, Flexibility, Team player, Initiative
