Overview

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Languages: English

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Work Setting: Restaurant, on-site only

Responsibilities

Tasks

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Supervise and coordinate activities of staff in food preparation
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
• Estimate ingredients and supplies for meal preparation
• Ensure food and service meet quality control standards
• Address customer complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
• Prepare and submit reports

Supervision

• Food and beverage servers
• Kitchen and food service helpers
• Staff in various areas of responsibility
