Overview

This position is suitable for those looking to start their career in food service. Experience is not required as training will be provided. Candidates residing in Canada and other candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit, are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables.
• Clean and sanitize items, including dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
• Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
• Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• Package take-out food and keep records of food usage.
• Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items.
• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars and take customer orders.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces and equipment.
• Receive and store supplies in refrigerators and other areas.
• Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
• Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.

Requirements

• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
• Experience: Will train.
• Languages: English.

Work Conditions

• Fast-paced environment and physically demanding tasks.
• Handling heavy loads; repetitive tasks; standing for extended periods.
• Public transportation is available.
