Job Responsibilities

• Bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables.
• Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units.
• Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
• Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware.
• Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand.
• Keep records of food quantities used.
• Package take-out food and portion and wrap foods.
• Serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
• Stock refrigerators and salad bars.
• Use manual and electrical appliances to clean and prepare food items.
• Clean and sanitize the kitchen and work surfaces.
• Handle and store cleaning products.
• Remove kitchen garbage and trash and clean floors.
• Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit.

Experience and Qualifications

• No degree, certificate, or diploma required; training will be provided.
• Experience with electronic cash registers, food dispensers, and grills is an asset.
• Must have own transportation; public transport is available.

Work Environment

The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads, and performing physically demanding tasks. Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods and manage repetitive tasks while working under pressure.
