Position: Folk Dance Teacher

Location: Brampton, ON

Work Environment: On-site, Noisy, Outdoors, Underground

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: $36.10 per hour / 30 to 35 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Exercise to maintain physical ability and physical fitness
• Prepare dance students for auditions and performances
• Teach dance techniques and artistic interpretation
• Perform dances
• Practice and rehearse dance routines
• Train to maintain high levels of technical proficiency

Experience and Specialization

Area of Specialization: Traditional Folk

Teaching Specialization: Amateur Training

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
