Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Finish Carpenter to join their team. This position offers potential immigration support for the right candidates, whether or not they currently hold a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
• Schedule and coordinate work on sites.
• Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments.

Requirements

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

• 2 to less than 3 years of experience

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

• Bending, crouching, kneeling
• Handling heavy loads
• Physically demanding work in a fast-paced environment
