Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Fence Installer to join their team in Mississauga, ON. This is a permanent, full-time position offering between $36.00 to $38.50 per hour, based on experience.

Visa Sponsorship: Support available for international candidates, including individuals with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Mississauga, ON
• Work Setting: On-site, outdoors, in construction, renovation, and installation
• Hours: 35 to 44 hours per week
• Overtime Required: Early morning, Day, Evening, and On call
• Vacancies: 2

Responsibilities

• Install interior prefabricated products
• Exhibit professionalism in customer service
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
• Repair and service interior and exterior prefabricated products
• Determine layout and installation procedures
• Document and prepare invoices and work orders
• Measure and mark guidelines for installations
• Maintain work materials and supplies
• Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment
• Supervise other workers

Experience and Skills

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
• Equipment and Machinery Experience: Hand tools
• Area of Specialization: Fences

Work Conditions

• Fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Attention to detail is crucial
• Repetitive tasks expected
• Weight handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• Own tools/equipment needed: Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat
