Our client is seeking candidates for a position that supports visa sponsorship for overseas candidates. This role does not require a valid Canadian work permit for eligible applicants.

Responsibilities

Tasks

• Handling animals
• Marking livestock as proof of ownership
• Monitoring animal health
• Performing pig littering activities such as clipping needle teeth, docking tails, administering iron and other medication(s), identification of piglets, and castration
• Weaning
• Feed and tend animals
• Clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens
• Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
• Set and monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops
