Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Family Physician for a hybrid work setting. We welcome applications from other candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. Visa sponsorship may be considered for qualified applicants.

Job Details

• Location: Langley, BC
• Salary: $350,000 to $550,000 annually (To be negotiated)
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Workplace Information: Hybrid

Responsibilities

• Collect medical information from patients, family members, or other medical professionals.
• Examine patients’ health conditions to identify diseases and injuries.
• Help patients develop healthy habits and reshape their approach to wellness.
• Order laboratory tests, X-rays, and other diagnostic procedures.
• Consult with other medical practitioners on patients’ health.
• Prescribe and administer medications and treatments.
• Inoculate and vaccinate patients.
• Advise patients on health care.
• Provide counselling and support on health and lifestyle issues.

Qualifications

• Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry.
• Certificates: College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP), Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
• Experience an asset.
