Our client is looking for a Family Physician to join their team. This position offers support for candidates seeking immigration assistance.

• Ambulatory care centre

Salary

$231,407 to $456,327 annually (To be negotiated)

40 to 50 hours per week

Terms of Employment

Responsibilities

• Collect medical information from patients and other medical professionals
• Examine patients’ health conditions to identify diseases and injuries
• Help patients develop healthy habits and reshape their approach to wellness
• Order laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures
• Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients’ health
• Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
• Inoculate and vaccinate patients
• Participate in health care policy and planning
• Advise patients on health care
• Report births, deaths, and other diseases to authorities
• Co-ordinate or manage primary patient care
• Provide acute care management
• Offer counselling and support on health issues
• Provide emergency care
• Supervise home care services

Qualifications

• Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry
• College of Family Physicians Certification (CCFP)
• Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
• Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
• Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and II)
• Experience is an asset
