Job Overview

Our client is looking for an Executive Chef to supervise kitchen staff and ensure the preparation of high-quality meals in a restaurant setting. This position is open to candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Main Responsibilities

• Supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers.
• Instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of food.
• Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events such as banquets.
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies.
• Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.

Job Details

• Work Setting: Restaurant, Bar, Catering Firm
• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in a relevant role.
• Location: 205 Restigouche Rd, Oromocto, NB
• Salary: $30.00 to $32.00 hourly (to be negotiated), 40 hours per week.
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time.
• Flexible Hours: To be determined.
