Our client is seeking a dedicated Ethnic Food Cook specializing in Thai cuisine. Visa sponsorship may be considered for qualified applicants, including candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Beechville, NS
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $30.00 per hour (40 to 48 hours per week)
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full time
• Overtime: Required during Day, Evening, Weekend shifts
• Vacancies: 5

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
• Order supplies and equipment.
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• Clean kitchen and work areas.
• Manage kitchen operations.

Experience and Skills

• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in a similar role.
• Cuisine Specialties: Thai.

Work Conditions

• Fast-paced environment; physically demanding; attention to detail needed.
• Public transportation is available.
