Job Overview

Our client is seeking an Ethnic Food Cook to join their restaurant team. Visa sponsorship options may be available for international applicants, including those candidates with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Calgary, AB
• Work Setting: On-site in a restaurant in an urban area
• Salary: $36.00 per hour
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
• Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week, including morning, day, evening, weekend, and overtime

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
• Order supplies and equipment
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Organize buffets and banquets
• Manage kitchen operations

Qualifications

• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role
• Cuisine Specialties: East Indian, International
• Language: English
