Our client is seeking an Electronic Service Technician for a permanent, full-time position. Candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit, are encouraged to apply. • Location: Nanaimo, BC
• Salary: $36.65 per hour / 32.5 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Work Hours: Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime, Flexible Hours, Morning

Responsibilities

• Inspect products to determine the requirements for repair
• Install electronic equipment
• Repair electronic equipment
• Inspect and test electronic equipment and assemblies
• Repair or replace defective or worn-out parts and components
• Diagnose and locate circuit, component, and equipment faults
• Test and adjust repaired products for proper functioning
• Calibrate products using hand tools
• Complete work orders, test, and maintenance reports
• Prepare cost estimates
• Supervise other electronic equipment service technicians
• Read blueprints and drawings
• Provide excellent customer service

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
• Languages: English
• Work Setting: Repair, on-site customer service
