Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Electrician for a full-time term contract role in London, ON. Visa sponsorship options are available for the right candidates.

Job Details

• Location: London, ON
• Work setting: On-site, various locations including commercial, institutional, and residential
• Salary: $36.00/hour for 35 hours per week
• Benefits: Free parking available

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Installing electrical controls and panel boxes
• Replacing and repairing electrical controls and panel boxes
• Keeping maintenance reports and documentation
• Designing and constructing single-phase service for installations
• Splicing, joining, and connecting wires
• Testing and measuring voltage loads
• Troubleshooting and isolating faults
• Connecting power to audio and visual equipment
• Conducting preventive maintenance programs
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role
• Certifications: Electrician Trade Certification, Construction Electrician Red Seal Certificate
