Our client is offering an opportunity for the position of Edge Bander – Woodworking. This role may include visa sponsorship for international candidates.

Responsibilities
- Set up, program and operate one or more computerized or manual woodworking machines.
- Fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture, fixtures and other wood products.
- Operate gluing machines to glue pieces of wood together or press and affix wood veneer to wood surfaces.
- Operate preset special purpose woodworking machines to fabricate wood products.
- Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions.
- Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment.
- Replace parts as required.
Experience and Qualifications
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
Work Conditions
- Noisy worksite environment.
- Physically demanding tasks.
- Repetitive tasks requiring manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
Own Tools/Equipment
- Steel-toed safety boots
- Hard hat
- Safety glasses/goggles
- Gloves
- Mask
- Ear plugs
