Job Overview

Our client is looking for an Early Childhood Educator – Kindergarten. This role includes opportunities for visa sponsorship for eligible candidates, including those with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: 3050 Confederation Parkway Suite 502, Mississauga, ON, L5B 3Z6
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $3,200 bi-weekly (80 hours bi-weekly)
• Terms of Employment: Full-time contract

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
• Lead activities such as storytelling, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
• Encourage children to express creativity through various media.
• Guide children in developing proper habits.
• Observe children for signs of potential issues and prepare reports.
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers.
• Plan and maintain a safe environment for children.
• Teach using lessons, discussions, and field trips.
• Prepare subject material according to an approved curriculum.
• Lead students in activities promoting their overall development and school readiness.
• Participate in educational conferences and training workshops.
• Discuss student progress with parents and school officials.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• Required Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
• Certificates: Child development assistant (ECE level 1), Emergency child care first aid and CPR.
