Our client is seeking a passionate Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join their team. Job Details

• Location: 4464 Markham Street, Victoria, BC, V8Z 7X8
• Work Location: On-site
• Salary: $27.25 to $37.00 hourly (To be negotiated), 30 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Special Commitments: Day shifts

Responsibilities

• Assess the children’s development to prepare tailored learning plans.
• Assist with housekeeping and cooking duties.
• Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers.
• Develop and implement childcare programs to support children’s development.
• Maintain daycare equipment.
• Engage children through storytelling and creative activities.
• Supervise staff and volunteers.
• Communicate children’s progress to parents.
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and service providers.
• Prepare snacks and arrange spaces for lunch and rest periods.

Qualifications

• Education: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate, College/CEGEP diploma.
• Experience: Experience is an asset.
• Certifications: First Aid Certificate, Criminal record check needed.
• Personal Suitability: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
