Our client is actively seeking an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join their team. This role offers the potential for immigration support, making it suitable for international applicants.

Job Details

• Location: North Vancouver, BC
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $32.00 per hour, 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Work Schedule: Morning shifts from 07:30 to 15:30
• Vacancies: 1

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement child-care programs that support children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
• Lead activities by telling or reading stories, and teaching songs.
• Encourage creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
• Guide children in developing proper habits relating to eating, dressing, and toilet use.
• Observe children for potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports.
• Build and maintain relationships with co-workers and service providers.
• Ensure a safe environment that supports children’s health and well-being.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
• Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role.
• Certification: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate is mandatory.
• Languages: Proficiency in English is necessary.
