Our client is seeking dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join their team in Lacombe, AB. This is a full-time, permanent position with immigration support potentially available for qualified applicants.

Job Details

• Location: Lacombe, AB
• Salary: $18.00 per hour, 30 to 35 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
• Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
• Order supplies and equipment.
• Encourage children to express creativity through art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
• Guide and assist children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
• Establish guidelines for behaviour and ensure compliance with licensing regulations.

Qualifications

• Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate required.
• Experience in the field is an asset.
• Knowledge of basic security clearance and criminal record check is a must.

Additional Information

• Work setting: Child care centre, Day care centre or nursery school.
• Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, reliability, team player, values and ethics.
• Physical capabilities: Ability to perform repetitive tasks, attention to detail, and a combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
