Our client is seeking an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) for a permanent full-time position. Visa sponsorship may be considered for the right candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. This role involves developing and implementing childcare programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Job Details

• Location: Clairmont, AB
• Work location: On-site
• Salary: $19.50 hourly for 32 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full-time
• Vacancies: 5 positions available

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement child-care programs
• Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest
• Encourage children to express creativity through various media
• Guide and assist children in developing proper habits
• Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural issues
• Establish collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers
• Maintain an environment that ensures the health, security, and well-being of children

Qualifications

• Education: College or equivalent experience (1 to 2 years of education required)
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a related role
• Certificates: ECE Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, Early Childhood Education Certificate, First Aid Certificate

Work Conditions and Physical Demands

• Repetitive tasks and physically demanding
• Bending, crouching, kneeling required
