Our client is seeking an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) Assistant to join their team. Visa sponsorship may be available for qualified international applicants.

• Salary: $25.00 per hour, 30 to 40 hours per week

Overview

Languages: English

Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.

Work Setting

• Child care centre

Responsibilities

• Assist co-workers in housekeeping and cooking duties.
• Maintain daycare equipment.
• Assist early childhood educators in promoting the development of children.
• Engage children in activities such as storytelling and crafts.
• Guide children in developing proper habits.
• Prepare snacks and arrange rooms for lunch and rest periods.
• Submit observations on children to educators or supervisors.
• Attend staff meetings to discuss children’s progress.
